For Fanime 2025 I made a staff for cosplaying the character Marcille. I had seen these cool rotating displays and wanted to try using it to add a magic effect in the center of her staff’s circular head.
It turned out great! And was ultimately pretty simple, just a lot of 3d printing in sawdust PLA for a nice wood texture, some amazing painting by my girlfriend, and a handy little battery and mount adapter.
